Update

Today has been unfortunate.
My rat, Miley, had a vet appointment today.
The vet confirmed there was nothing we could do for her and she was euthanized.
I miss her already.

Also, Wednesday September 30, I got a puppy.
She is a Chorkie (Chihuahua Yorkie mix).
Her name is Lily and she was born May 30th.
Potty training has proved fairly difficult,
but she has learned to sit and lay down already.

Intro to my animals

I wanted to create a blog to share my experiences with my pets over the last few years, to offer tips and warnings to others, and to help animals and their owners in any way I can.

I'll start off my introducing my current pets.
-Rabbits: Tinkerbell & Cuppie Cakes, both female, 3 years old, healthy and doing well.
-Rat: Miley, female, I've had her for 9 months but she is about 3 and has a mammary tumor.
-Cat: Milo, male, litter mate of my sister's cat, 2 years old, he was given to me in May.

I also recently lost some longtime companions.
-Tyler, my cat I had since I was 7. He was my best friend in the world. He died April 15th of Lymphoma at age 13.
-Pudding, my guinea pig. He died at age 7, I assume of old age, as that is an incredibly long lifespan.

There are several types of animals I hope to acquire in the future.
-Sugar gliders
-Hedgehog
-Ferrets
-Possibly more rats

I love my animals and I always want to help more. I do a lot of research on breeds and species I have or hope to own. I like to know I am providing them with the best possible care. I will answer any questions I can. If I don't know the answer, I will find one. I hope to find people interested in sharing ideas and experiences.
